The EAD week took place from the 14-17^th November, 2016 at SSBC seminar hall, COMSATS Institute of Information technology, Islamabad.

Goal and Objectives

The basic aim of the Entrepreneurship awareness drive (EAD) was to create awareness amongst students about SSBC, and how this center facilitates and groom youths at CIIT to become successful entrepreneurs. The objective of the EAD was to motivate the students towards adopting a business by providing mentorship from successful entrepreneurs and motivational speakers.

Workshop Sessions and Discussion

The Entrepreneurship Awareness Drive commenced on the 14^th of November, 2016 with a presentation on SSBC by Ms. Sobia Bilal, In charge SSBC. She introduced the participants about Entrepreneurship and the reasons behind the drive. She wished all the participants a good and successful learning experience in the EAD. On the first day of the event two motivational movies “In pursuit of Happiness” and “Startup kids” were played. The following day two motivational speakers Mustansir Tanauli (CEO of Fori mazduri) and Zeeshan Shafqat (CEO of Khyber Dodai) narrated their success stories to the attendees. Meanwhile, Ms. Sobia Bilal gave presentations on SSBC at various departments including Computer Sciences and Biosciences. Various motivational talks were continued during the event, by Qasim Mumtaz (Four Corners Research Group), Niamat durani (entrepreneur & Social Trainer) Shafiq ur Rehman (Social Entrepreneur) and Shakil Imran (Excretive Director, Elysium Consulting). Question & answer and discussion sessions were continued during the whole event.

Finally, the event came to close on 17^th November, 2016 at the EE seminar hall. The student attendees were moralized into concentrating their efforts to convert their ideas into successful business ventures regardless of how tough the road and journey may be.
