The Student Startup Business Centre (SSBC)- Islamabad, proudly announces commencement of its 2016/17 program for its second batch of CIIT students. The orientation ceremony for the Batch-II (Startups-2) was held on 14th February 2017 at SSBC Building at CIIT, Islamabad Campus.

Coordinator SSBC, Ms. Zainab Bilal oriented the students with an introductory presentation. Selected students' startups enrolled into the new batch participated in the ceremony. These students are from the Departments of Computer Science, Electronics, Biosciences and Software Engineering and are enthusiastic about developing their own potential ground breaking businesses at SSBC. Executive Director SSBC, Mr. Muhammad Raza Ahmad Khan,
welcomed the new startups and gave a motivational talk at the close of the ceremony. Mr.M.Raza Ahmad Khan in his remarks, said that SSBC was at the service of all CIIT students interested in entrepreneurship. The aim of SSBC is to promote a culture of knowledge based startups at the varsity, which will support the national economy by creating jobs, innovative products,solutions and services.

At the end of the ceremony, students were given a tour of the facility, and were introduced to their future office workplaces. A set of souvenirs was awarded to the qualifying startups enrolled into the program.

SSBC wishes its new Startups a prosperous and fruitful future.
