A delegation comprising of members of Office of Development and a team of Nano technology specialists lead by Dr. Arshad S. Bhatti visited Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 9th May, 2016 to explain Nano technology and its possible applications within various industrial sectors of Sialkot. The talk attracted overwhelming response and was attended by representatives of various industrial clusters. They pointed their industry specific issues and problems to Dr. Arshad Bhatti who explained and elaborated on possible solutions.
It is worth noting that Office of Development is striving to interact with various chamber of commerce and industry to promote industry academia linkages. OoD is also highlighting key strengths of CIIT to attract fund bearing projects.This talk was one of such initiatives.
During the visit,specific scholarship schemes for students belonging to Sialkot were also discussed. The officials of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce,agreed ondevising such scholarship schemesfor the needy students of Sialkotregion.
